Welcome to The Repairenting Project

Through journeying depression, solo parenting and healing childhood trauma, The Repairenting Project became a personal memoir to gather my thoughts, experiences, wins and challenges during difficult seasons.

It started as scribbles on random pieces of paper, revelations in my notes app, insights and reflections on voice recordings and deep heart opening writing in my journals.

It was during these times I uncovered golden threads of wisdom and love buried in the depths of despair that helped me to reflect, repair my past, re-parent myself and essentially re-design my life.‍ ‍

Here on this Blog, I share personal stories along with teachings through my work as a Mindset Mentor & Facilitator of Change.  From seasons in life on the threshing floor, desperate and broken, to times being completely renewed and restored with god's glorious grace on this earth. I share time and space where both light and shadow simultaneously exist.

I hope in joining me, you find a resonance, a sense of belonging and some wisdom within yourself, through my vulnerabilities.  I hope you feel inspired, unburdened and most of all seen, heard and connected through my words.

The Beautiful Chaos of Adolescence

I've come to think of teenage years as a 'training ground’, a sacred space between childhood and adulthood where both teens and parents learn and grow. If we’re consciously aware and have our own healing, boundaries and values in check, we can survive those moments without too many ruptures. Ruptures, that can be repaired with conscious parenting, compassion and respect for self and each others.

“One of the most rewarding parts in letting go of what no longer serves our soul is receiving the greatest gift; arriving inside ourselves, our cells, as if for the first time, with unequivocal self love and an infinite source of wisdom to create miracles from.”
