Welcome to The Repairenting Project
Through journeying depression, solo parenting, and the slow work of healing childhood wounds, The Repairenting Project began as scattered scribbles, voice memos, and late-night notes, tiny lanterns in seasons of darkness. Those fragments held revelations: golden threads of wisdom and love buried in the depths of despair. What started as a personal memoir is slowly being cultivated into this Blog, a place where raw story meets intentional practice.
Here I bring personal candor and the practical teachings I’ve gathered as a Mindset Mentor and Facilitator of Change. You’ll find pieces written from the threshing floor, moments of utter brokenness, and from the places of renewal where God’s grace meets everyday life. I share time and space where both light and shadow simultaneously exist.
Read these posts to resonate, to find belonging, and to reclaim the wisdom already inside you. My hope is that my vulnerabilities make room for your healing: that you feel seen, heard, and lighter for having been here.
If something here speaks to you, I’d love to hear it. Please reach out by email. If a piece could help someone you know, please share it. Some content may be triggering for people in certain seasons; if that’s you, please read the Important Note on Wellbeing before continuing.
Much love, Jen Pen Muma | Interior Designer | Writer | Mindset Mentor
A poem “On Children” by Poet and Philosopher Kahlil Gibran
Your children are not your children
They are the sons and daughters of life's longing for itself…
“One of the most rewarding parts in letting go of what no longer serves our soul is receiving the greatest gift; arriving inside ourselves, our cells, as if for the first time, with unequivocal self love and an infinite source of wisdom to create miracles from.”
