Hi, I’m so glad you’re here!

A place to to connect, to gather tools and uncover golden nuggets of wisdom and love that lay buried under the depths of despair.

Welcome to The Repairenting Project

for conscious people unconsciously messing things up!

I started this a long time ago, on random pieces of paper, on my notes app, on voice record, in journals - as a personal memoir to gather my thoughts, experiences, wins and challenges during difficult transitions through journeying depression, solo parenting and healing childhood trauma all at the same time.  It became a place for me to reflect, repair, restore and essentially re-parent my life.

Here I share personal discoveries and lessons along with teachings through my work as a Mindset Mentor & PSYCH-K® Facilitator.  From seasons of my life on the threshing floor of existence and other times being completely renewed and restored with god's glorious grace on this earth.  I share stories, insights, favourite quotes and poems from other people who have inspired me and I share a time and space where both light and shadow simultaneously exist.

I hope in joining me, you find a resonance, a sense of belonging and some wisdom within yourself, through my vulnerabilities.  I hope you feel inspired, unburdened and most of all seen, heard and connected through my words.  Much love Jen Pen

Before you read on, remember this…

“One of the most rewarding parts in letting go of what doesn’t serve our soul is in receiving the greatest gift; arriving inside ourselves, our cells, as if for the first time, with unequivocal self love and an infinite source of wisdom to create miracles from.”

The Beautiful Chaos of Raising Adolescents

I've come to think of teenage years as a 'training ground’ - sacred space between childhood and adulthood where both teens and parents learn, grow, and sometimes stumble and explode. Who am I kidding?  We constantly stumble, tantrum, and hit rock bottom, only to scale great heights of success and celebration moments or days later. If we’re consciously aware and have our own healing, boundaries and values in check, we can survive those moments without too many scars.

Unpicking & Re-Stitching the Family Tapestry

Healing trauma and breaking generational cycles is a huge undertaking, however those of us who feel the call to say “enough is enough it stops here with me” knows that its not really something we “choose” to do - its more like being chosen, by some other source, an innately strong calling. Like threads in an ancient tapestry, our inherited patterns run deep - some as visible as a grandmother's smile, others as subtle as whispered family secrets. Here, I share my journey of unpicking generations of grief, resilience, and transformation, revealing how we can reweave our inherited stories into something beautifully our own.
